Despite the title, I actually do like history.
Just not necessarily American history. It can be so dull, and the way some writers write about it is so BOTHERSOME. I do, however, enjoy the American History Overview videos at Khan Academy.

| I kind of think it would be funny if this post was read in what you imagine to be George Washington's voice, so if you can, please do. :) |
Sometimes, I just find American history so very tiresome, especially when simply learning about a bunch of old dead white dudes from the Virginian gentry, with apparently Brilliant minds and apparently New Ideas. I mean, the first few presidents all came from the same circle, the same group of Best Friends Forevz. There weren't NEW ideas (yes, many may argue that the Brilliant Minds of America were, well, Brilliant, and they did great and Wonderful Things for our country) and NEW people. And they came from the upper class of America, the gentry, so they didn't really see the perspective of the slaves and servants and lower class (especially Thomas Jefferson. He said he wanted slaves to be freed, but did he ever follow in George Washington's footsteps and free his slaves? NO.)
So, what I'm saying is that I am learning more American history (ever so slightly unwillingly), and I shall write my opinions on the Historical Past Events on this Blog.
